The 13th Governing Council and Management of Lagos State University (LASU) have announced plans to hold a three-day strategic retreat focused on strengthening institutional governance and setting a clear developmental direction for the university.

The retreat, themed “Purposeful Governance: Charting a Strategic Roadmap for LASU,” is scheduled to take place from Friday, 16th to Sunday, 18th January, 2026, at BON Hotel, Ikeja Residence, Lagos.

According to the announcement, the retreat is designed to enhance leadership alignment between the Governing Council and Management, deepen strategic thinking, and articulate a coherent roadmap for the university’s next phase of growth and development.
