Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Ibusa, Delta State, has announced the appointment and resumption of new principal officers as part of efforts to strengthen its administrative structure and reinforce institutional discipline.

The development, which took effect on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, saw the deployment of senior Nigerian Navy officers to key leadership positions within the university.

The newly appointed officers include Capt. (NN) A.T. Abdullahi, who resumes as Registrar; Commander A.E. Ameobi, appointed as University Librarian; Commander Y. Usman, as Director of Physical Planning and Works; and Lt. Commander S.J. Ogohi, who assumes duty as Chief Security Officer.

The university expressed appreciation for the continued support of the Nigerian Navy, noting that the appointments align with its vision of delivering quality education within a disciplined, secure, and structured environment.

Management also called on members of the university community to extend maximum cooperation to the new officers as they settle into their respective responsibilities.
