Ahmadu Bello University Announces Schedule for 2023/2024 Special Resit Examinations

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has released the schedule for its 2023/2024 Special Resit Examinations, following approval by the university's Senate at its 539th regular meeting held on August 29, 2024.

*Registration: October 21-26, 2024 (1 week)

*Revision: October 21-November 2, 2024 (2 weeks)

*Examination: November 4-9, 2024 (1 week)

Eligibility:

The Special Resit Examination is open to:

1. Final-year students with not more than four outstanding courses to graduate (optional for those whose residency has not expired).

2. 300-level, 500-level, and 600-level students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

3. 300-level students of pre-clinical programs in the College of Medical Sciences.

Fees:

*Registration: ₦10,000

*Charges per course: ₦5,000

Scoring:

In the Special Resit Examination, the maximum score attainable is the minimum pass score (40% for classified degrees and 50% for unclassified degrees).
