Ahmadu Bello University Introduces Wellness Clinic

Ahmadu Bello University has introduced a wellness clinic at its medical center, providing a range of health screening services to the university community and members of the Samaru community.

The clinic offers various health screening services, including:

- Prostate cancer screening

- Breast cancer screening

- Cervical cancer screening

- Cardio-pulmonary disease screening

- Metabolic problem screening

The wellness clinic is open on Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the ABU Medical Centre (Sickbay). A team of senior doctors, led by Dr. Alex Otu, will provide services, including special investigations such as Pap Smear and Breast Ultrasound, which will be anchored by a visiting female gynecologist.

This initiative aims to promote the health and well-being of the university community and beyond.
