Ahmadu Bello University Releases Guidelines for 2024/2025 Screening of New Students

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has released guidelines and requirements for the 2024/2025 screening of new students. The screening exercise is mandatory for all newly admitted students.

 

According to the guidelines, candidates are expected to print out their JAMB admission letters and notification of admission from the ABU Post-UTME portal. They are also required to upload their credentials, including birth certificates, indigene certificates, and NIN slips, on the university portal.

The screening exercise will take place at the Kontagora Square, where candidates will present their original certificates and scratch cards for verification. Direct Entry candidates are required to present their A-level certificates or certified true copies.

 

The university emphasized that Direct Entry candidates whose A-level results are yet to be cleared on the JAMB portal will not be entertained unless the clearance is done.

After the screening exercise, candidates will be enabled on the ABU portal to pay school fees, print their university admission letters, and register for courses. Students interested in accommodation can reserve a bed space and pay for accommodation through the student portal.

 

The university advised students to proceed to their respective faculties and departments for registration after completing the screening exercise.
