Al-Ansar University Appoints Professor Fanna Inna Abdulrahman as Acting Vice-Chancellor

The Board of Trustees of Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, has approved the appointment of Professor Fanna Inna Abdulrahman as Acting Vice-Chancellor, effective September 8, 2025. Professor Abdulrahman is a seasoned academic and administrator with extensive experience in teaching, research, and university administration.
She has served in various leadership positions, including Head of Department of Chemistry and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Kashim Ibrahim University. Professor Abdulrahman is a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry with over 150 scholarly articles and numerous postgraduate students under her supervision.
The appointment is expected to further enhance the university's academic and administrative excellence.
