Professor Clement Meseko participated in a high-level international forum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he presented Nigeria’s success story in managing Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) — an achievement that highlights both national resilience and academic contribution to global health discourse.
In a related development, Dr. Uwem Edet represented the University at an event organized by the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where he presented a paper on “Preparedness of Health Facilities and Workers for Viral Hemorrhagic Fever.”
