ASUU-FUGA Sensitises Members On NUPEMCO Recapitalisation Framework

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Federal University Gashua (FUGA) Branch, has organised a special engagement session to sensitise its members on the ongoing recapitalisation of the Nigerian University Pension Management Company (NUPEMCO).

‎The programme, held at the University’s 284-capacity Lecture Theatre, brought together members of the union to deepen their understanding of the recapitalisation process and its implications for their retirement savings and long-term financial security.

‎Speaking at the event, the Chairperson of the ASUU-FUGA Branch, Comrade Dr. Ali Bulama, explained that the session was designed to equip congress members with adequate information on the recapitalisation exercise, thereby enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their pension investments and future welfare.

‎He noted that pension matters remain a critical concern for university staff and emphasised the importance of keeping members well-informed on developments affecting their retirement benefits.
