Azman University Delegation Congratulates Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu on NUC Appointment

A delegation from Azman University, Kano, paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, to congratulate him on his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fatima Batul Mukhtar, the delegation extended their best wishes to Prof. Ribadu in his new role. The delegation included the Registrar, Aminu Ibrahim Lawal; the Bursar, Ahmed Balarabe; and the Business Development Manager, Yusuf Issa An-Nuphawi.

Prof. Ribadu, a renowned academic and administrator, was appointed as the Executive Secretary of NUC in December 2024 ¹. His appointment was seen as a significant development in the Nigerian education sector, given his wealth of experience in university administration and his commitment to academic excellence.
