Baobab Nigeria has joined forces with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to promote financial literacy and awareness of its innovative financial services among corps members across the nation. This collaborative initiative, known as Jollof+, is being rolled out in NYSC camps located in Lagos, Sagamu, Abuja, Keffi, and Uyo, aiming to educate young Nigerians on the significance of saving and financial management.

The Jollof+ platform is designed to simplify the financial management process for Nigerians, and this partnership seeks to enhance brand recognition for the digital savings platform. In a recent statement, Joy Micheal-Oti, Business Development Manager at Baobab Nigeria, emphasized the critical role of financial literacy in achieving financial independence.

As part of the initiative, Jollof+ sponsored the Mr. Macho and Miss NYSC events at the Ogun State camp, where winners received awards and invaluable insights into utilizing the Jollof+ app for smarter savings and effective money management.

Corps members were introduced to Jollof+’s key features, which include high-interest savings options such as Jolloflock, Ajo+, and Babybox. These options are specifically designed to cater to various savings goals, ensuring that young Nigerians have the tools they need to secure their financial futures.
