Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has issued a stern warning to the public following the circulation of fraudulent Facebook pages and sponsored ads claiming to release the institution’s 2025/2026 admission lists and sell “supplementary forms.”

The university clarified that these pages misuse BMU’s name and logo and are not affiliated with the institution.

The BMU Information Desk emphasized that the university does not announce admissions via unofficial phone numbers or social media pages, and it does not sell forms through personal accounts or WhatsApp lines. All legitimate updates are issued exclusively through BMU’s verified channels, including the official website, Facebook page, and university email addresses.
