Bayero University Kano Provides Update on NELFUND Refunds

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced updates on NELFUND refunds for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.

According to the university, the refund process for the 2024/2025 session is currently in progress, with payments set to be made directly into students' upkeep bank accounts.

Students who have not received refunds for the 2023/2024 session have been advised to contact the NELFUND Desk Officer at the Senate Building for processing. Graduating students who applied for NELFUND have been informed that refunds will be handled after those for undergraduates, with management deciding whether payments will go back to NELFUND accounts or directly into graduate accounts.

The university has also advised students who have not applied for NELFUND to wait until the next session to avoid system issues. The management appreciates the support of Engr Usman Shuaib Bosha and Engr Abdoull Maina Abba throughout the refund process.
