Bayero University Kano Releases Proposed 2023/2024 Academic Calendar

The management of Bayero University, Kano has submitted a proposed academic calendar for the 2023/2024 undergraduate programmes to the Senate for approval.

According to the proposal, the academic calendar is as follows:

- First Semester Lectures: Monday, 15th July to Saturday, 5th October, 2024 (13 weeks)

- Mid Semester Break: Monday, 26th to 30th August, 2024 (1 week)

- First Semester Examinations: Monday, 7th October to 9th November, 2024 (4 weeks)

- Second Semester Lectures: Monday, 18th November to Saturday, 15th February, 2025 (13 weeks)

- Mid Semester Break: Monday, 30th December, 2024 to 3rd January, 2025 (1 week)

- Second Semester Examinations: Monday, 17th February to 15th March, 2025 (4 weeks)

- Semester Break: Monday, 3rd May, 2025 (1 week)
