Bayero University Kano Students' Union Government Introduces Price Control Measures

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Bayero University Kano has taken proactive steps to address students' concerns about high prices of goods and services on campus.

Following numerous complaints, the SUG's Sales Director, Sen. Hamza S.S. Sani (Mainasara), conducted a thorough survey at Coke Village, covering various outlets, including supermarkets, eateries, and service centers.

The survey's findings have led to the regulation of prices, standardizing essential services across all outlets. Key price fixes include,Phone charging for ₦100 and Photocopying for ₦30.

The Sales Committee will soon announce official fixed prices for all commodities.

This initiative, initially focused on Coke Village, will extend to Old Campus and other campuses in the near future.
