Bayero University Kano to Co-Host Pan-African Conference on Digital Transformation

Bayero University Kano is set to co-host a major hybrid conference on digital transformation across Africa's public and private sectors.

The conference is led by the Pan African Strategic and Policy Research Group, in collaboration with the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

The conference aims to strengthen digital infrastructure, improve governance transparency, and promote sustainable innovation. It will focus on key areas such as operational efficiency, transparency, and the role of broadband in driving digital transformation.

The Vice-Chancellor of BUK, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, has welcomed the partnership and proposed forming a Local Organizing Committee to oversee the event's planning and logistics. The Coordinator of the Pan African Strategic and Policy Research Group, Major General Ibrahim Sani (Rtd), a BUK alumnus, praised the institution's contribution to scholarship and national development, describing it as a fitting venue for the conference.
