BUK Mourns the Passing of Lecturer Deacon Davis Aderibigbe

Bayero University, Kano (BUK), is mourning the loss of Deacon Davis Aderibigbe, a dedicated administrator and pioneer Faculty Officer of the Faculty of Dentistry, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 73.

Deacon Aderibigbe was instrumental in stabilizing and preparing the Faculty of Dentistry in its early stages. His administrative acumen and commitment to the growth of the faculty earned him recognition and appreciation from colleagues and students.

The Faculty of Dentistry had previously celebrated Deacon Aderibigbe's contributions, mounting his portrait on the Wall of the Faculty Officer's Office as a memorabilia. His family and colleagues remember him as a great man who dedicated his life to service.
