Caleb University in Imota, Lagos, is set to hold its first "Employability Fair" on July 30, 2024. The event, in partnership with 30 leading corporate organizations, aims to provide students with networking opportunities, career guidance, NYSC Mobilization placements, and job prospects.
Caleb University, Imota Lagos, in collaboration with 30 leading corporate organizations, is set to host its inaugural "Employability Fair" on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. The event, which will take place at the University Multipurpose Hall at 9:00 a.m., aims to provide students with valuable networking opportunities, career guidance, NYSC Mobilization placement, and potential job prospects.

The "Meet the CEO Event" will feature direct interactions with CEOs, physical job interviews, employability tests, panel discussions, and roundtable sessions. Additionally, students will receive tips on achieving a work-life balance.
Professor Olalekan Asikhia, Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Research, Innovation, Strategy, and Administration (RISA), emphasized the fair's significance in preparing graduating students for the workforce. "Through this fair, students will gain insights into industry trends, build connections, and foster mentorship relationships with major business owners," he stated. "Our goal is to support students' career development and empower them to succeed in their respective fields."
The event will host CEOs from renowned organizations, including First Bank PLC, Diya Fatimilehin & Co., Yale Foods PLC, Industrial Training Funds (ITF), Nigerite PLC, IBTC Pension PLC, Lagos Traffic Radio, MRS Oil PLC, Checkers Custard, Cummins Generator, and Infinity Paints International. Other participating companies include Investment One Financial Services, Fan Milk Nigeria PLC, Airtel Nigeria, Rite Foods Limited, Nigeria Bottling Company PLC, CITA Petroleum Limited, Fuel Communications Limited, Sola Enitan & Co.
