The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has presented a special scholarship of ₦500,000 to Nana Fatima Bukar Bolori, a student from the University of Maiduguri's Department of Islamic/Shariah Law. This recognition is a testament to Nana's academic excellence and potential in her field.

The award was presented on November 7, 2024, by Major General Wahidi Shuibu, the Theater Commander of Operation Hadin Kai Joint Task Force (JTF) Headquarters in Maiduguri. Major General Shuibu explained that the COAS Special Scholarship Scheme is part of the Nigerian Army’s Civil-Military Cooperation program, designed to support deserving, indigent students across Nigeria in achieving their tertiary education goals.
