Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari Visits Federal University Lokoja

Earlier today, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi along with members of Management, Staff, and Students of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), warmly received Professor Ibrahim Agboola GAMBARI, CFR, OCORT, during his maiden visit and presentation of the 4th Distinguished Public Lecture of the University entitled "The Relevance of University Education in Innovation for the Advancement of Town and Gown Symbiosis."
Professor Gambari, an astute scholar and diplomat, was the Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari between 2020 and 2023. His helicopter touched down at the newly constructed mini stadium, FUL Permanent Site, at about 9:30 am.

Remarkably, this is the first time a helicopter landed on the soil of the Federal University Lokoja Permanent Site since its relocation from the Adankolo Campus (now College of Health Sciences).
It is interesting to note also that this is the first public appearance of the former Chief of Staff since the end of the previous administration.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, who was overwhelmed with joy, expressed deep appreciation to the guest lecturer, particularly for his love for him personally and for the fast-growing Institution which he has displayed again by honouring the invitation to deliver the 4th public lecture.
