Covenant University Set to Launch New Nursing Programme

Covenant University, CU, is set to launch a new Nursing programme following a successful resource verification visit by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, NMCN.

The 5-member NMCN team, led by retired former Registrar Mrs. Alheri Yusuf, recently visited the university’s Ota campus on an advisory mission. The team expressed satisfaction with the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, serene environment, and robust faculty line-up.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Timothy Anake hosted the delegation and assured them of CU’s commitment to raising the bar in healthcare education.

The Nursing programme is one of several new programmes scheduled to commence in the 2026/2027 academic session. Other programmes include Medicine, Law, and Mechatronics Engineering.
