DELSU Confirms Eligibility of NELFUND Beneficiaries for First Semester Exams

In line with its commitment to equitable access to academic opportunities, Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) has directed Faculties to permit students who can provide evidence of Verified or Disbursed status under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) scheme to participate in the First Semester 2025/2026 Examinations.

In line with its commitment to equitable access to academic opportunities, Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) has directed Faculties to permit students who can provide evidence of Verified or Disbursed status under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) scheme to participate in the First Semester 2025/2026 Examinations.

Students whose status on the NELFUND platform is indicated as “Verified” or “Disbursed” are considered to have satisfied the requirements under the scheme. Presentation of such status constitutes official confirmation of their eligibility for financial support.

Faculties are therefore advised to allow affected students to sit for their examinations upon presentation of verifiable proof of their NELFUND status. This measure is intended to ensure fairness, prevent academic disadvantage, and reinforce the University’s commitment to inclusive education.
