Delta State University (DELSU) has directed all final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students to submit their research projects, dissertations, and theses for mandatory plagiarism screening as part of graduation clearance requirements.
According to an official notice from the university ICT Directorate via https://delsuces.online/, students are required to upload their completed academic research works to the designated portal for automated plagiarism assessment.
The university explained that once submitted, each document will undergo a formal plagiarism check, after which a detailed screening report will be sent directly to the student’s registered email address.

DELSU stated that only students whose work falls within the approved plagiarism threshold will be allowed to proceed with printing, binding, and final submission of their academic projects or theses.
In addition, successful candidates will be issued a Plagiarism Clearance Certificate upon full graduation clearance, which will form part of the official documentation required for completion of their academic programme.
The management emphasized strict compliance with the directive, noting that adherence to academic integrity standards remains non-negotiable.
Students have been urged to complete the process promptly to avoid delays in graduation clearance procedures.
