David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital (DUFUTH) has continued to expand its workforce with the recent enrollment of 70 additional staff on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS).

The IPPIS capturing exercise, conducted between January 11 and 13, 2026, included the registration of 34 nurses, alongside clinical personnel, health attendants, and 8 non-clinical staff. Of the total captured, 60 staff were newly enrolled, while 10 were migrated from existing records.

This exercise represents DUFUTH’s third consecutive recruitment drive within ten months, fully approved by the Supervising Ministry and relevant government agencies. The hospital continues to prioritize workforce development to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
