Ekiti State Government Awards Bursaries to Law School Students
The Ekiti State Government has approved a bursary award of N29,400,000 for 196 indigenes attending the Nigeria Law School (Bar 1) for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions. Each student will receive N150,000.
In a bid to promote academic excellence and support human capital development, the Ekiti State Government has approved a bursary award totaling N29,400,000 for 196 indigenes enrolled in the Nigeria Law School (Bar 1) for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions.

This announcement was made by Mrs. Bukola Faluyi, the Secretary of the Ekiti Scholarship Board, in a statement released to journalists on Saturday. Each beneficiary will receive N150,000, with the disbursement scheduled for Tuesday, July 23, at the Ministry of Education.
Faluyi emphasized that this initiative aligns with Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s vision to foster academic excellence among students from Ekiti State. "The disbursement of the bursary award is in tandem with Gov. Biodun Oyebanji’s vision to encourage academic excellence among students of Ekiti State origin. It is on this note that the governor has graciously approved the payment of the bursary award, being one of the several steps to support his shared prosperity agenda of Human Capital Development," she stated.
The event will be presided over by the Ekiti State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Olabimpe Aderiye mni.
