EKSU Vice-Chancellor Congratulated Chief Wole Olanipekun on 50 Years of Legal Practice
The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Professor Joseph Babatola Ayodele, congratulated one of Nigeria's foremost legal luminaries, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, CFR, on the occasion of his 50 years of distinguished service to the legal profession.

In a congratulatory message, Professor Ayodele described Chief Olanipekun, the Asiwaju of Ikere Kingdom, as an outstanding legal icon whose influence over the past five decades extended beyond courtrooms and law reports into justice administration, public service, education, healthcare, broadcasting, philanthropy and national development.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that Chief Olanipekun had distinguished himself through remarkable contributions to the legal profession, scholarship schemes for indigent students, as well as major interventions in healthcare, religious projects, information and communication technology (ICT), and empowerment programmes for widows, orphans and entrepreneurs.

Professor Ayodele also commended the Senior Advocate of Nigeria for his commitment to mentoring young legal practitioners, describing him as a father figure whose career remained worthy of emulation by members of the legal profession.
He further described Chief Olanipekun as a true embodiment of the Yoruba "Omoluabi" and the Ekiti ideal of "Eni Iyi, Eni Eye," noting that his accomplishments had brought honour and pride to Ekiti State and Nigeria.
According to the Vice-Chancellor, attaining 50 years of active and impactful legal practice represented a rare milestone that reflected exceptional brilliance, resilience, professionalism and unwavering dedication to the ideals of the legal profession.
On behalf of the University's Governing Council, Professor Ayodele prayed for continued good health, divine wisdom, greater strength and many more years of fruitful service for the legal icon.
He also wished Chief Olanipekun a memorable golden jubilee celebration and many more years of impactful service to the legal profession, Ekiti State, Nigeria and humanity.
