Federal Poly Wannune Rector Approves Land Allocation for Campus Mosque to Foster Religious Harmony

In a significant move to reinvigorate religious harmony and promote free worship, the management of the Federal Polytechnic Wannune, under Dr Tyover Ashinya Dajoh has approved the allocation of a sizeable portion of land, for the building of a mosque within the FPW Campus.

Delivering the allocation letter on Thursday 5/3/26, the outgoing Registrar of the institution, Dr Muhammad Ndas Ndaeji, gave the message of the Rector, Calling for peaceful worship, religious tolerance and moderation in the process of worship so as not to interfer with academic activities.

Leader of the Muslim community, Ahmed Suleiman who received the letter on behalf of the brotherhood, expressed deep appreciation to the Management of the Polytechnic, saying, it was a clear demonstration that, humanity is one, made perfect by one almighty God, wether described as God or Allah.

He promised on their behalf to pursue pure worship, carry out required services and use the place as a prayer house for the overall growth and development of the school.

He enjoined co-believers to be religious, civil and true in the practice, eschewing bigotry and hypocrisy.

Recall that, sometimes in 2025 the Rector had made significant contributions to the building of a Christian worship centre, East wing of the Polytechnic campus, a development that has promoted peaceful prayer life and Christian practice among staff, students and the host community.
