Federal Polytechnic Bali Postpones Reception for Sports Contingents Following Registrar's Bereavement

The management of Federal Polytechnic Bali has announced the postponement of the reception ceremony originally scheduled to honor the institution’s sports contingents.

The postponement, announced on Friday, January 9, 2026, follows the passing of the mother of the Polytechnic’s Registrar. Out of respect for the grieving family and the deceased, the event—previously slated for Saturday, January 10—will now take place next week.

The rescheduled reception is now set as follows:

In an official statement, the Polytechnic community expressed deep condolences to the Registrar: "We pray that Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives the departed soul and grants her Aljannatul Firdaus. May Allah also grant the Registrar and the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."

The institution apologized for any inconvenience caused to the invited guests and the student-athletes by this sudden change in schedule. The reception is intended to celebrate the recent achievements and performance of the Polytechnic's representatives in national competitions.
