Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Students Share Experiences on SIWES and Registration

Students of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi have shared their experiences during the Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and the registration process.

 

According to Abdulrahman Muhammad Garba, a Mass Communication student currently on SIWES training at Globe FM Bauchi, the training has been "impactful" and has equipped him with practical skills, including audio editing.

However, Garba mentioned that transportation fare has been a challenge, citing the high cost of transportation as a major obstacle.

In a separate interview, Timberi Daniel Joshua, a newly admitted Business Administration student, shared his experience with the registration process. Joshua described the process as "smooth and stressful," adding that he had experienced delays in obtaining clearance.

 

The students' experiences highlight the need for institutions to address logistical challenges and streamline registration processes to ensure a smoother experience for students.
