In a statement released by the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Anthony Ogbe, the management clarified that it has not outsourced its admission process to any individual or third party. The institution stressed that all admission matters are handled directly and transparently by the school.
Details of the said fraudster were also made public. He operates a Facebook page under the name Solomon Abuchi, uses the phone numbers 08114661984 and 09064160935, and conducts fraudulent transactions through the account number 8114661984 with Money Point, bearing the name Felix Ekomhen.

The Polytechnic urged prospective candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to such fraudulent schemes. Members of the public were advised to rely only on official communication channels, including the Polytechnic’s website and campus offices, for verified information on admission and other matters.
The statement further appealed to all stakeholders to join hands in protecting the integrity of the institution from mischievous and unscrupulous elements.
