Federal Polytechnic Oko Appoints Acting Bursar

Federal Polytechnic Oko has announced the appointment of Mr. Sam Okonkwo as the Acting Bursar of the institution. He officially received his letter of appointment from the Rector, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Until this appointment, Mr. Okonkwo served as the Chief Internal Auditor of the Polytechnic. He holds both an MBA and a B.Sc. in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria (FIIA) as well as a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

With over 15 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in the institution, Mr. Okonkwo is expected to bring his vast expertise and professional insight into strengthening the financial administration of the Polytechnic.
