Federal Polytechnic Oko has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Bursar, Mr. Stephen Udu, popularly known as Udummili, who passed away while in active service.

In a statement, the Rector of the institution, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, described Mr. Udu as a man of integrity, dedication, and excellence who contributed immensely to the financial management and growth of the Polytechnic.
“His commitment, professionalism, and kind-heartedness touched many lives within and outside our community,” Dr. Awuzie noted.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students, the Rector extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Bursar, praying for strength and comfort during this difficult period.
