Federal Polytechnic Oko Releases 2025/2026 Academic Calendar

The Federal Polytechnic Oko management has officially published the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session.

The schedule outlines key academic and administrative activities from September 2025 to September 2026.

According to the Acting Registrar, Mr. Nwagwu Dominic, the calendar is binding on all students and staff, covering registration, lectures, examinations, and breaks.

• Online Registration of Courses: 16th September – 13th October, 2025
• Late Registration with Penalty: 14th – 31st October, 2025
• First Semester Lectures: 16th September, 2025 – 15th January, 2026
• Convocation Ceremony: 5th December, 2025
• Christmas Break: 25th – 26th December, 2025
• Revision (First Semester): 16th January – 2nd February, 2026
• Matriculation Ceremony: 23rd January, 2026
• First Semester Examinations: 3rd – 18th February, 2026
• Short Break: 19th – 28th February, 2026
• Second Semester Lectures: Commence 2nd March, 2026
• Revision (Second Semester): 3rd – 7th June, 2026
• Second Semester Examinations: 8th – 22nd June, 2026
• Long Vacation: 1st July – 6th September, 2026
• Resumption for 2026/2027 Academic Session: 7th September, 2026
