Applications are now open for admission into the one-year Remedial Science Programme of the University of Abuja for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Admission Requirements
Candidates must possess credit passes in the following subjects at GCE, WAEC, NECO/SSCE, or NABTEB:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology/Agricultural Science
  • English Language
  • Mathematics

Duration of Programme

  • The programme runs for one academic session (2025/2026).
  • Students will undertake intensive studies and must:
    • Pass the two-semester Remedial examinations.
    • Meet the UTME cut-off mark for the University of Abuja.
    • Register for Post-UTME.
    • Satisfy the entry requirements for admission into any science-based degree programme.

Application Procedure
Application forms are available online at www.portal.uniabuja.edu.ng for ₦15,000. Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the University portal.
  2. Select “New Application” and choose Remedial.
  3. Provide required details.
  4. Make payment of ₦15,000.
  5. Complete the online application form with a valid email address and phone number.
  6. Note down the RRR number for reference.
  7. On successful payment, a form number will be generated.
  8. Log in, complete the form, and print it.
  9. Submit all required documents.
  10. Check admission status on the University portal using the Form Number (Username) and Surname (Password).
  11. For payment issues, contact the Directorate of Information Technology, Management Services (ITMS).
