The Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, has issued a directive prohibiting all staff members from engaging in cryptocurrency trading and mining activities during working hours.

According to the hospital's administration, the decision follows numerous complaints from patients and their relatives regarding staff distraction from primary duties due to trading activities.

The management warned that failure to comply with the directive will result in disciplinary action, in line with Public Service Rules.
