Federal University Gusau Appoints First Female Registrar

The Governing Council of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS), Zamfara State, has appointed Hajiya Nafisa Barau Suleiman as the university's third substantive Registrar. She becomes the first female to hold the position in the institution's 12-year history.

Hajiya Nafisa, who holds an M.A. in English Language from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has previously served as Acting Registrar and Deputy Registrar in the Office of the Vice Chancellor. Her appointment is expected to bring her wealth of administrative experience to bear on the university's operations. The University Management has wished her well and prayed for Allah's guidance in her new role.
