Federal University Lokoja Takes Delivery of Two 32-Seater Buses to Ease Campus Transportation

The Federal University Lokoja has received two 32-seater buses aimed at improving transportation for staff and students across its campuses.

The buses were delivered to the Adankolo Campus on Saturday, April 4, 2026, marking a key step in addressing longstanding mobility challenges within the institution.

The Vice-Chancellor, Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, said the development fulfills a commitment made during his first congregation meeting as the university’s 4th Vice-Chancellor, where he pledged to prioritise campus transportation reforms.

He noted that the provision of the buses reflects a broader administrative agenda focused on improving operational efficiency, staff welfare, and student experience across the university system.

The management said the initiative is expected to ease inter-campus movement, improve punctuality, and create a more conducive academic environment.

The university also expressed appreciation to stakeholders who supported the initiative and reaffirmed its commitment to continued infrastructural development and service delivery improvements.
