Federal University of Education, Zaria Appoints Mal. Aliyu Muhammad as Deputy Director of Sports and Recreation
The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ), Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, has appointed Mal. Aliyu Muhammad from the Department of Physical and Health Education as the Deputy Director of the Sports and Recreation Directorate.

The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ), Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, has approved the appointment of Mal. Aliyu Muhammad as the Deputy Director of the Sports and Recreation Directorate.
Mal. Muhammad, who hails from the Department of Physical and Health Education, will serve in this capacity for a tenure of two years, effective from March 14, 2025.
The appointment is expected to strengthen the university’s sports and recreational activities, fostering athletic excellence and student engagement.
The announcement was made by Sani Lawal Maqarphy, Media Aide to the Acting Vice Chancellor.
