The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Koroma/Saakpenwa, Ogoni, Rivers State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for a comprehensive list of academic programmes following a successful resource verification exercise by the Commission’s team of experts.

This approval marks a major milestone in the establishment of the institution and paves the way for the commencement of full academic activities in September 2025. The approved programmes span six faculties, aligning with the university’s core mission of advancing environmental sustainability, science, and technology.
