Federal University of Kashere Addresses Nelfund Payment Delays

The Students' Representatives Council (SRC) of the Federal University of Kashere has acknowledged and addressed the concerns of students regarding delays in Nelfund payments.

In a statement released on December 26, 2024, SRC President Sahabo Abdulkadir assured affected students that the issue is being investigated and resolved. The delays have also impacted some SRC executives and appointees, highlighting the widespread nature of the issue.

To address the delays, the SRC will collaborate with the Bursary Department and ICT Director after the holiday break. Students who have submitted their Remita details will receive priority attention. President Sahabo also reassured students that Nelfund has approved their loans, and efforts are underway to resolve the payment issues.

The SRC has urged students to remain calm and patient, assuring them that updates on the matter will be provided as soon as possible. "Thank you for your patience and understanding. SRC is committed to students' concerns," the statement concluded.
