Federal University of Kashere Releases Approved Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Federal University of Kashere has officially released its approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session, outlining key dates and events for students and faculty.

The first semester will commence with the registration of fresh and returning students on November 4, 2024, followed by a period for adding and dropping courses. Orientation for new students is scheduled for November 18, 2024, leading into the first semester lectures, which will begin the next day.

Key events include the first semester break from December 13 to December 16, 2024, and the examination period, set to occur from February 2 to February 8, 2025. The marking of examination scripts will take place from February 10 to February 21, 2025.

The second semester is set to begin on April 22, 2025, with examinations occurring in July 2025. The academic session will conclude with the marking of examination scripts from July 21 to July 29, 2025.

The Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Mohammed Umar, emphasizes that all students should take note of public holidays declared by the Federal Government, which will be observed throughout the academic year.
