The Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Environmental Design at the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), recently organized a workshop for its staff and postgraduate students.
The event, titled "Microsoft Word Tools for Cost-Effective Thesis/Dissertation Review and Supervision: Response to Current Economic Realities," aimed to enhance research activities and provide participants with practical skills.
The workshop, held at the Lecture Room A, Faculty of Environmental Design Complex, Permanent Site Campus, FULafia, featured Dr. Negedu as the facilitator. Dr. Negedu shared his expertise on utilizing Microsoft Word tools to streamline the thesis and dissertation review process, making it more cost-effective and efficient.
The Head of the Department of Industrial Design, Dr. Jonathan Okewu, welcomed participants and emphasized the workshop's alignment with the vice-chancellor's commitment to sustainable academic conferences, seminars, and workshops. The event was well-attended by faculty members and postgraduate students, including Prof. Samaila Usman Dakyes, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Partnerships at FULafia.
