Federal University of Transportation, Daura Commences Semester Break

The Federal University of Transportation, Daura (FUTD), has announced the commencement of its semester break in line with the institution’s approved Academic Calendar.

According to a special bulletin issued by the University Management, the institution will be closed from Monday, December 22, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026. The break is aimed at enabling staff and students to celebrate the festive period with their families.

The bulletin, however, noted that staff on essential services are exempted from the break and are expected to continue their duties as scheduled.

The University further stated that normal academic activities will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

In its message, the Management extended warm seasonal greetings to the university community, wishing all staff and students compliments of the season and a prosperous New Year 2026.

The announcement was signed by the Registrar, Umar Faruk Bayu, and published in the FUTD Special Bulletin, Volume 2, Number 24.
