FedPoly Damaturu Rector Condoles FCE Potiskum Over Deputy Provost's Demise, Visits CAMTECH

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, paid a condolence visit to the Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum on Tuesday.

The visit was to commiserate with the management over the passing of Deputy Provost (Administration) Dr. Abdulkadir Adamu, who died recently after a brief illness.

 

Dr. Bashir was received by the Provost, Dr. Muhammad Yunusa Madu, and other management members. He expressed his shock and sadness over the Deputy Provost's demise, acknowledging the significant loss to the college.

In response, Dr. Yunusa appreciated the Rector's visit, noting that while death is inevitable, Dr. Adamu's passing is a great loss to the college, as his services were still greatly needed.

 

A prayer was offered for the soul of the late Dr. Adamu, and the Rector also visited the deceased's residence to condole with his immediate family.

During his visit to Potiskum, Dr. Bashir also paid a familiarization visit to the College of Administrative and Management Technology (CAMTECH). He reiterated his commitment to maintaining a cordial working relationship with the institution's management, which dates back to his time at Kaduna Polytechnic and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

 

The Rector of CAMTECH, Mallam Ibrahim Bomai Zarma, welcomed Dr. Bashir and appreciated his visit, which aims to strengthen ties between the two institutions.
