Female UNIPORT Student Found Dead in Off-Campus Residence

Tragedy struck at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) as the lifeless body of a 200-level Accounting student, Adaeze, was discovered in her off-campus residence in Aluu, near the university in Rivers State, Nigeria. The cause of her death remains unknown.

The Dean of Student Affairs at UNIPORT, Chima Wokocha, confirmed the discovery of Adaeze's lifeless body in her off-campus accommodation. He explained that she was brought to the Chief Lulu-Briggs Health Centre by neighbors. It appears that she might have consumed a substance before passing away, as a bottle of an unknown substance was found near her.

The UNIPORT management and the police visited the scene, and Adaeze's parents have been informed of the unfortunate incident.The Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, has not yet provided any updates on the case.
