Fifty-Four LASU Students Awarded N47.4 Million WAPCo Scholarship for 2025/2026 Academic Session
Fifty-four students of Lagos State University (LASU) have been awarded a total of N47,414,160 under the West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo) annual scholarship scheme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Fifty-four students of Lagos State University (LASU) have been awarded a total of N47,414,160 under the West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo) annual scholarship scheme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The scholarship, designed to support tuition, books, and other study-related expenses, was granted to students who demonstrated satisfactory academic performance. Disbursements were made in four tranches: N23,707,080, N15,804,720, N2,634,120, and N5,268,240.
Beneficiaries span multiple faculties and disciplines, including Medicine and Surgery, Law, Nursing Science, Dentistry, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Mass Communication, English Language, and Education-related programs.
The scholarship is part of WAPCo’s continued investment in nurturing academic excellence and supporting students’ educational journeys.
