FUAMB Vice-Chancellor Reaffirms Strategic Partnership with Mubi Emirate During Royal Visit

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), Prof Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, earlier today received Alhaji Abubakar Mahmud Wambai, the Madakin Mubi and a senior council member of the Mubi Emirate Council, who paid a courtesy visit to the institution.

The visit aimed to strengthen the longstanding relationship between the Mubi Emirate Council and the university, while fostering continued collaboration for the growth and development of the institution.

During the visit, Alhaji Abubakar Mahmud Wambai conveyed the goodwill message of the Mubi Emirate, expressing appreciation for the remarkable strides recorded by the university and its commitment to academic excellence and institutional development. He commended the dedication of the pioneer management and staff of the university, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of greater achievements.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, appreciated the continuous support of the Mubi Emirate and acknowledged the fatherly leadership of His Royal Highness, Alh Dr Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, CFR, the Emir of Mubi. He also praised the contributions of the sons and daughters of the Mubi Chiefdom towards the progress of the university.

Prof Bitrus Dawi Tarfa assured the Emirate Council of the university’s commitment to producing highly skilled graduates equipped with the knowledge and competence required to excel in their respective professions.

He further emphasized the importance of sustained guidance, support, prayers, and collaboration from the Mubi Emirate and other critical stakeholders to ensure the continued growth and advancement of the institution.

Among those present during the visit were the University Registrar, Mrs Fatima Saidu Bashir,the University Librarian, Dr Yahuza Aliyu, and the Bursar, Dr Taofiq Ishaka.
