The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) has announced the completion of the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) training exercise for students in the 13th Batch "B" for the 2023/2024 academic session. The approval for the wind-up was granted by the Vice-Chancellor, marking the official end of the program on Friday, 21st March 2025.

In an internal memorandum signed by Dr. Abdulaziz Bashir Kutawa, the Acting Director of the University SIWES, deans of relevant faculties have been notified of the development. Departmental SIWES coordinators are expected to inform students to return to campus on Sunday, 30th March 2025, in preparation for the subsequent processes.

Following their return, students will be required to participate in an Oral Defense and submit their SIWES Technical Report between Tuesday, 1st April, and Saturday, 5th April 2025. To ensure smooth proceedings, all participating students must present evidence of SIWES registration and submit their logbooks along with Form 8 before their presentations.

The faculties affected by this announcement include the Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS), Faculty of Physical Sciences (FPS), Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (FCMP), Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), Faculty of Education (FEDU), Faculty of Environmental and Earth Sciences (FEES), Faculty of Renewable and Natural Resources (FRNR), Faculty of Engineering (FENG), and the College of Health Sciences (CHS).
