FULafia Accounting Department Engages Businesses in Lafia

The Accounting Department of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), led by Dr. Tijani Ahmed Ajayi, visited selected businesses in Lafia as part of a community outreach program. The visit aimed to teach business owners basic accounting skills and improve financial record-keeping.

Dr. Ajayi explained that the exercise exposed students to real-world accounting practices while assisting local businesses, particularly in financial management and compliance.

One of the businesses visited, Ato Sahara Cassava Processing Venture, welcomed the initiative, with the General Manager, Mr. Ato Sahara, expressing readiness for collaboration with the university.
