FULafia Dean Represents VC to Launch Book and Capacity Building Programme

The Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences, Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Professor Ibrahim Khalil Adam, has represented the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Isa Kida, to launch a book and a capacity building programme.

The event took place on September 8, 2026, in collaboration with the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology.

The book, titled "The Scholarship Blueprint," was authored by Aliyu Umar Sadiq.

Professor Adam conveyed the goodwill message of the Vice-Chancellor and commended the author and the Department for the initiative aimed at enhancing academic development and research capacity within the University community.

The capacity building session was designed to equip students and researchers with knowledge and skills relevant to scholarship opportunities and career advancement in the sciences.

The event was attended by members of the Faculty of Life Sciences, staff, and students of the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology.
