FULafia Vice-Chancellor Receives SSANU-Women Wing Delegation

Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), received a delegation from the SSANU-Women Wing of FULafia, led by Comrade Becky Kajo, at the Old Senate Chamber, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Comrade Kajo, who is also the Head of the Staff Productivity Promotion Unit (SPPU) , led the delegation to discuss matters of mutual interest and concern. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Vice-Chancellor to engage with the SSANU-Women Wing and explore ways to promote gender equality and empowerment within the university community.

Professor Abdul Rahman, who took office as the third Vice-Chancellor of FULafia in 2021 , has been committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence within the institution. The meeting with the SSANU-Women Wing delegation is a testament to his dedication to engaging with all stakeholders and promoting the welfare of staff and students.
